What's on your workdesk? Wednesday, #180

Not going to subject you to the mess.  The tray table is cleared at the
moment, but the real art room is truly very bad.  Deep.
Thick with layers of artistic endeavors past.
However, here is one of the altered rolodex cards that was in the
making last week on the tray table workdesk:

The collage images are from Altered Pages, the stamps are from Blockheads

Do you remember this pic?  I finally get to show and tell about it
tomorrow, so if you get the chance, I'd love it if you stop by
and see what WAS on my workdesk. (Tomorrow=Thursday!)

I'm hoping to be early in my WOYWWing this week, but if not,
you know I'll find you sometime before next Wednesday rolls
around, right?  Happy WOYWW to you, and a big thank you
as always to Mrs. Dunnit for being such a wonderful hostess!

P.S.  The kitties are getting along much better, having apparently
reached some sort of territorial agreement.  **sigh of relief!**

What a beautiful card, Trisha. A Rolodex converted to an art journal is a wonderful idea! How cool is that? The art work is awesome, and I love the colour too.

As for the kitties - awww! I went to your last week's post (sorry not to see it at the time) and that kitty's expression Says It All... Reminds me of when we got Chloe and Phoebe as kittens, to keep Beatrice company after her sister Bella was killed on the road... Keep her company? What a joke. She looked like that all the time, and biffed the kittens every time they came within striking distance! It took her a year to accept them, so you've done really well! Chloe was also killed on the road (all too heartbreaking) but Beatrice and Phoebe get on fine these days. Kitty dynamics - who can understand them?

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, and I'm so glad you like my projects. Perhaps you and I are founder members of DSYWW - Don't Show Your Workdesk Wednesday lol lol!! My whole room is an absolute tip and I really need to get it sorted, but each time I go in there, it defeats me.

Happy WOYWW,

At last I have seen a rolodex card and what a beauty it is too. Must investigate doing them myself now you have inspired me.
The fabric on my desk - kimono - is the darned iPad cover I flung! Will pick up some time.

love the rolodex card! I could have bought a couple holders full of cards at a garage sale the other day and didn't even think about using them in my art so just let them go by. Hope some body picked them up they were such a good buy! Will try to remember to come back tomorrow and see your project. Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #62

I'm REALLY late getting round to people this week - family life getting in the way!

So, I figured I'd better pop in and at least say thanks for stopping by!

This Rolodex card is as lovely as the other one you shared on the AP Blog Trisha. The background is fabulous and I love the beautiful big butterfly wings. As a cat lover I loved seeing and reading about your cats also.....pleased to hear they are getting along. My two turn one today actually! xx
