serendipity

Here is a story for you.

Once upon a time, my friend the Contessa told me
she had been published in a magazine or two.

"Well, doesn't that sound like fun?" I thought.

So, I submitted some things here:

and they were published like this:

(a little bit closer now . . .)

I feel like a very happy dork.

A dork, because all the other pieces in this issue
are so much more interesting than mine.

But a very happy dork none-the-less, because there
are my little French girls, and fairy, for all to see.

See?

(Don't you love happy endings?)

:)

You're a dork for even thinking you're a dork. Dork! ha I love those pieces, especially the corner thingie you used. Congrats on the article in Altered Arts! I'm so proud!

P.S. you can borrow the books to read if you want. I finished On What Grounds and the next 2 in the series. All yours. Just call me. 520-6647

you do such fine work that it does not surprise me that you got published. By all means submit more. You have what some might call a "God-given" talent. Wherever it came from, you've got it.
