a not-so-great week ends well

Been sick with a cold + weather here = b l e a h .

A very short while ago, however, I found the stack
of mail that had been brought in, but I hadn't seen
yet, and in it was the new Somerset Studio:

With my little Alice like so:

She had other friends, but they didn't make it
into the Somerset Alice mix:

So things are looking up around here.

Anything fun happening with you? Made anything
lately? Leave me a link--it's snowing here AGAIN,
and I would love to come "visit" you!

I've had a cold , too, and it was raining and I felt, oh quite miserable. Thank God I feel better today and a pot of my trusty narcissi appeared today like sunshine on my balcony. So, yes, I do want to cheer you up, though I haven't made anything lately...Life is lovely and Spring is near!

Trisha,

I love the cat best! I can see why they used Alice, she's the main character. The cat is just keen!

Congrats to you!!! I've made a bunch of stuff but my computer monitor is sick (actually it is dead & in the shop!) and I am stuck with a dinky (and I do mean majorly dinky) monitor that jumbles up everything so I can't see what I am writing on my blog (and that could be dangerous!).
Anyway I love your Alice!

Spring is popping through over here. Just barely, but enough to restore hope.

Congrats on the item in SS! Great accomplishment! Of course you belong in there.

Just responding to your email here because I did, and it kicked it back as denied.

"You sent it to me, not posted. I'll post your questions and my answers to the customer board.

It's just a challenge. At least on my end, as my canvas is already traded out.
Someone will get a goodie bag from my studio. You know I have more than enough
to grace someone with. It might end up being you as I think you're the only
nibble I've had. lol

Been sewing on the machine. Through paper. Making either pages for a book or
might use each page I made for book covers. We'll see what delights me more.

Miss you."

Congrats to you!! Your Alice is just darling - so happy for you to be published. Love the name of your blog too. (Found you from your post in Latest Trends yahoo group.)

I just blogged about getting inspiration from the colors of the Olympics, so please stop by and visit if you get a chance.

Thanks!
