Real words from my children.
Upon the completion of a Civil War dvd,
with the new WWI dvd in hand:
"Wanna go ahead and watch WWI? I hear
it's pretty good. Good enough they made
a sequel. Supposedly, they're working on
making it a trilogy."
Two children:
"I love horses."
"Yeah, and unicorns. But there are no
unicorns, because they cut their horns
off when they're babies."
(Please imagine the horror in the girl child's
voice) "You can't cut off a unicorn's horn!"
"Yes, you can, with a saw."
"NO, you can't. If you cut off a unicorn's
horn, it kills them, you dummyhead!"
What's that? Why, yes, yes, we do indeed homeschool.
*sigh*
Kids really DO say the darndest things, even when
they're teenagers. Maybe ESPECIALLY when
they're teens!
Here is a G inchy:
G is for Girl
I have a G is for Giraffe, too, but no pic yet.

Cute inchie! Did you ever hear The Unicorn Song by The Flying Dutchmen? At least I think that is who sang it. Gotta look that one up now!
Pie on my face! It was by the Irish Rovers!
Nope, never heard the song or of either of those groups, but I will bet youtube or playlist has!
I love to listen to children talk when they think no one is listening. They can be quite amusing!
Thanks for the compliments on my shrine thingie. You're so sweet.
Hi Trisha. I'm so glad you found my other blog and thanks so much for stopping by. I had to take an unexpected break, but I hope to get busy crafting again and get caught up on my inches soon. Yours is so cute. Thanks so much for sharing you children's comments. Made me smile! Have a great day!
