Easter ATCs (in progress) & a CAS card

It's starting to feel like spring here finally, and that inspired me to join an
Easter themed ATC swap.  Here are a couple of them, still in progress:

These are standard size atcs with a little bit of an arch and a cut frame.
The backgrounds on the large part of the atcs are Gelli Plate prints,
while the framed section uses  Perfect Pearl Mist shimmery backgrounds.

Used Grunge Collages, Grunge It UpVintage Birds, and Years Ago
all  from Blockheads. And I'm really liking the VersaMagic Inks, the matte
finish and kind of subtle, chalky colors--here it's Turquoise Gem and
Pink Grapefruit.

I'm still contemplating what else to add . . . definitely a Happy Easter is
in order.  And I can't believe I forgot to share this with you here--it's a CAS
card that, amazingly enough, I had published in the latest issue of Take Ten:
See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil
So that was fun--it's pretty exciting to get a copy of a magazine in the mail
with a big "congratulations" on the front!  Good grief, I didn't even scan this
before sending it in, so you can see the corners of the other cards it's with
in the magazine layout in this cropped pic.

Anyway, yay, that was fun!  And thank you for stopping by--I'm trying to
squeeze in more blog snooping visiting time (I miss my bloggy buddies!), and
if you leave a comment, will be around to say hi later this week.

Have a great weekend!  :)

Oh, hey, how about a challenge or two for those ATCs?
A Muse Studio  (love that name!)--Get Down and Dirty
Opus Gluei (love that name, too!)--Spring has Sprung
Quirky Craft--make your own background paper
Allsorts--springtime
One Stop Craft Challenge--Spring

The arch idea is just that little bit different and such gorgeous colours you played with.
Congratulations!!!! Your card is stand-out.
I couldn't agree more, it is so exciting to receive a complimentary issue, in fact it is such a buzz. You so deserve to be published and it is an honour to be in the same publication as yourself.

I love those ATCs, I think the butterfly might be my favorite, since I'm partial to them and to those colors but they are both wonderful! Thank you so much for playing with us at Opus Gluei!
