accidental collection #2

You know how some people have indoor pets or
outdoor pets? All of our pets are indoor pets,
but some of our rocks are outdoor rocks.

These, however, are just a few of my indoor rocks.

This is calcite on dolomite and chalcopyrite.

This is sparkly and blue. Which means I can't recall
its proper name at the moment. It's probably
azurite.

Vanadite. No, wait, argonite?
Okay, fine, sparkly and brown.

This is a dinosaur fossil. Yes, it is real--
we even took it to a museum to have it authenticated.
The guy started giving me the third degree, too,
asking where I got it and such.

These have nothing to do with rocks, but they are
the only semi-art related anything I've had the
time to make lately. These are all Stampin' Up
stamps (thank you, Rhonda, for
loaning out your bugs and critters!) with
Fabrico ink. Some are for our new nephew,
some were requested by Eva after she outgrew
her first batch. She wore the first set for
a whole year, and I was amazed at how well the
Fabrico inks withstood repeated washings.

What are you working on? Garden? Poem?
Painting? Song? Leave me a link! I could
use some inspiration.

(And I'm a little nosy.)

Looks like my stamps were put to good use!! The onesies are adorable! Great gift idea!

I have rocks in my head-does that count? Love the sparkly blue one!

So weird you posted about your rock collection. We're studying rocks in science and I just asked Rhonda about finding some to study, last night. She offered up her set. Today we started growing crystals (well, we read the directions and plan to actually begin tomorrow when we have more time.) Beautiful rocks. Love the onesies. Lucky recipient the babes will be. Have a wonderful weekend.

Okay, I love that sparkly blue rock, and those onesies are TOO cute!!!!

I just got back from a vacation to Memphis--seeing Graceland has inspired me to pull out the bling! ;)

My son also collect these kinds of rocks.
I am trying to work on the garden and flower beds, but the rain won't stop. We need it, so I won't complain.
So, inside I'm working on a baby shower. Sister-in-law is expecting twins.

Nice rocks, Tricia. The sparkly blue is a treat to look at. They are all fascinating especially the dinosaur fossil. What more can you tell us about the latter? Inquiring minds want to know!
The T-shirts are pretty cool looking.I like the colors. Do they glow in the dark or under a blacklight?
