Victoria. If you're wearing this . . .

. . . it ain't no secret.

The latest challenge at Gingersnap Creations is
"Bags and Tags," going along with our "From the
Mall" theme this month.

This not-so-secret piece uses the Vintage Corset
sheet, as well as a library card and pocket, from
Altered Pages. Altered Pages is hosting this month
at Gingersnap Creations--come play along for a chance
at some fun prizes. The winner of this challenge
for the Home Page Artist also receives a Dark Eyes
Tag kit from Altered Pages--very nice!

Do you ever challenge yourself? For the last
Gingersnap Spicy Supply--packing materials--
challenge, I made myself go simple. No embellishments.
So this time, you can see, it was ON, as in VERY
embellished. Broke into that hoard of trims, made
some flowers, the whole deal. Tried to make a stark
contrast between how pretty the corset looks, and
then when you pull the tag, how creepy it real is.

Seriously, how did wearing one of these EVER seem like
a good idea?

AND PS, BY THE WAY: Will be working up that swap
challenge from the last post for next month, so
be thinking about joining in, and a big thank you
to everyone for their kind comments on the dd's
collage!
:)

PPS--Will stop by for visits after the daughter and
I return from our adventure, thank you for stopping
by!

Your tag is gorgeous, but I wanted to address your final comment - those big bosommed ladies at the renaissance faire all love their corsets! Boning is so much more comfortable than those awful unwires!

Love the humor~ elegant details! Things women do for 'beauty', eh? I got glue on my eyelid trying to apply false eyelashes for a big event!lol~

this is really beautiful!

Well, glue on the eyelid isn't TOO bad! ;) <---one eye glued shut!

Yep, I pretty much deformed my foot with all the high heels I used to wear--but those corset ladies, some of them died from punctured lungs, and some couldn't walk without a corset on. That's pretty extreme!

Can't we be pretty without pain??!

:)
