. . . with the stuff on your art desk?
The other day, the girl child yells from the art room:
"Mom! I'm using all the leftovers on your desk to
make something, okay?"
Fine by me, have at it--maybe it will make things at
least one-layer-of-stuff cleaner . . .
This is what she came up with:
I think it's fun--look at all that stuff! There's
corrugated bits from a coffee cup holder, a padded
envelope, this and that, pieces from projects left
sitting out.
That would make for an interesting swap--
if one person sent their "stuff" to another, and
that person had to make something with it and send
it back. Hmmm. Or just post it to their blog.
ANYWAY, since the daughter doesn't have a blog,
we're posting it here, right?
Gingersnap Creations--Spicy Supply Challenge(packaging materials)
Crazy Amigo--pink!
Shopping Our Stash--SOS (she used silver and Stampin' Up)
Use It Tuesday--punch, die-cut, or cut out
Simon Says Stamp and Show--distressed/torn edges
Stamp with fun--pearls and flowers
Catered Crop Linking Party
So, if I sent you a little envie of bits and pieces,
would you make a something with it and post it to your
blog?
Would you?

She did a great job--thanks for entering her in the Use It Tuesday challenge!!
I love your daughter's artwork so much. It's so creative what she's done with it all! My particular favourite bit - "CAUTION VERY HOT"!
And YES, I'd have a go at making something with a little envie of your bits 'n' pieces.......... xx
Wow, this is fab - she has such a great eye for design. Good luck with all the challenges. The idea of making something out of someone else's bits & pieces terrifies me - but what a great challenge it would be. xx
So talented..just like her mama!! My bits & pieces aren't so cool. Just lots of bills.
How cute! Looks like she really got into it! My favorite is the pink tissue fringe on top :)
I did a project like this with Sheree at Raven Moon Magic...she sent me bits and pieces to make a doll...and I did the same! Really fun!
Wow your daughter's work of art is beautiful and good on her for using scraps - LOL I always use scraps I cannot bear to throw away even the most minute piece of paper and am always "fossicking" through my scraps!!!
LOVE it!! Wow she did a great job!!
She's quite the collage artist. I think a bits & pieces exchange would be pretty cool.
Wow- she is great at this college art! Awesome!
How clever!! she did an awesome job. my grandsons used to dig around the 'stuff' drawer and come up with some interesting items! fun.
You have a very creative daughter, she made a great job of this! The Design Team are really pleased that you joined us for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week - Thank you!
That is an interesting piece of art...nice to see the scraps getting used up instead of being stored in our craft spaces...thanks for joining in the SOS this week
Hey, Hey, Hey, a new artist on the block, and Mom has come up with a fab idea for a new challenge.
She did a great job and I would sooooo accept that challenge, I think it is a totally awesome idea!
Hee Hee - I love it. I'll have to try that technique some times. Don't you love how uninhibited kids are when it comes to art. Thanks for sharing it with us at Catered Crop.
I think it's great that you let her have a go at your scraps and this is what she came up with. Quite creative! Thanks for sharing this with us at Use It Tuesday!
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, She made a wonderful collage.

Beautiful collage card!!
She did a fantastic job, I love it. I think she must be about my age (!). Only warning, be careful what you leave lying around that she may think are the leftovers - you may lose that special item you have kept for gazing and stroking!

Interesting collage. I like all the bright colors.
I think she did a fantastic job! Watch out or she may upstage you in a few years!! :)
Wish I could let go like you did. Kids in my craft space is a rare occurance, but they do get their fair share of cast offs. TFS @ Use it Tuesday- Haven
