what would someone else make . . .

. . . with the stuff on your art desk?

The other day, the girl child yells from the art room:
"Mom! I'm using all the leftovers on your desk to
make something, okay?"

Fine by me, have at it--maybe it will make things at
least one-layer-of-stuff cleaner . . .

This is what she came up with:

I think it's fun--look at all that stuff! There's
corrugated bits from a coffee cup holder, a padded
envelope, this and that, pieces from projects left
sitting out.

That would make for an interesting swap--
if one person sent their "stuff" to another, and
that person had to make something with it and send
it back. Hmmm. Or just post it to their blog.

ANYWAY, since the daughter doesn't have a blog,
we're posting it here, right?
Gingersnap Creations--Spicy Supply Challenge(packaging materials)
Crazy Amigo--pink!
Shopping Our Stash--SOS (she used silver and Stampin' Up)
Use It Tuesday--punch, die-cut, or cut out
Simon Says Stamp and Show--distressed/torn edges
Stamp with fun--pearls and flowers
Catered Crop Linking Party

So, if I sent you a little envie of bits and pieces,
would you make a something with it and post it to your
blog?

Would you?

Wow, this is fab - she has such a great eye for design. Good luck with all the challenges. The idea of making something out of someone else's bits & pieces terrifies me - but what a great challenge it would be. xx

Hee Hee - I love it. I'll have to try that technique some times. Don't you love how uninhibited kids are when it comes to art. Thanks for sharing it with us at Catered Crop.

She did a fantastic job, I love it. I think she must be about my age (!). Only warning, be careful what you leave lying around that she may think are the leftovers - you may lose that special item you have kept for gazing and stroking!
