painty things--What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #283

It's November.  That may not sound profound to you, but let me say it again--it's November.

Please note the daughter's shadow puppet looming over the painty things on my desk this week:
These are destined to become Christmas ornaments
Just saying, I like crackles!

Happy What's on Your Workdesk, everyone, and thank you as always to Miss Julia for the fun of visiting creative workdesks all over the world.  Anyone can join in, just pop over for a look.

Love your painty crackly things this week, Trisha! Looks like enamel. I love doing this. Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment, and I'm glad you like my album. We tried Beatrice on the special bladder food last night and she was sick. We are going to try again tonight and if she's sick again, we'll have to tell the vet it's no good. She's got such a delicate little tummy, that one! She seems well enough but much too thin. You are right - they certainly do run our lives!!

I love that bright green - one of my favourite colours - it looks like an interesting project. And I love the crackle effect - my crackles never crackle very well - I don't know why, but it's put me off using the stuff, although I love the effect!
Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier, hope you have a great week,

Yes, it's November. At the speed with which it came, I can only hope April and May will come just as quickly (and last longer!).

I love your crackles, too. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.

Happy Woyww,

I get it, I really do. November...and for the first time in months, it seems that I'm working full time in the joinery instead of being organised and on top of everything. Argh, November!
I'm interested in you or ornament plans..don't forget to show them off, will ya?!

Love the shadow puppet. {grin} I haven't done crackle painting for years. I did a lot of it when I was into woodworking and tole painting. It is fun, and I love that look. Would love to see the completed ornaments. Thanks for your visit to my blog today.

Think your daughter needs to do a rabbit or dog as part of next week's shadow puppetry!

I love your green crackly things, the colour is just gorgeous. So it's november, I don't panic until the 20th of december. That's when I usually think I'd better get a move on and make cards :) Have a great week,
