Our World, Our Art Event

Have you heard of Our World, Our Art?  Once upon a time, it was One World,
One Heart--it's an international, get-to-know-your-fellow-arty-bloggers event and
gift giveaway.  Even though the event has begun, you can still join in.  Just click the
OWOA button in the sidebar for details.  And even if you don't join the linky list,
you can still participate in the get-to-know-you/giveaway part, but you do
need to be an active blogger.

So hey, everyone, if you're new to this blog, my name is Trisha, and I like making
pretty much everything.  No, seriously, pretty much everything.  Now I'm not saying
I'm particularly good at everything I try, but you know, it's the process, right?

Lately I'm enjoying stitching up little handmade art journals.  A couple of months
ago, I sent one off to a friend, but to the wrong address!  We thought it was lost
forever, so of course I resent her a different one.  ANYWAY, over two months later,
and voila!

The little journal has found its' way home, and wants to come live with YOU.  Please
leave an e-mail address with your comment, so I can find you.  Plus, I'm always
happy to blog follow and visit you, but PLEASE make sure your blog settings are
such that I can find you.
pocket sized hand bound art journal--my OWOA gift giveaway
Happy Our World, Our Art to you, and I'll be around to visit this week!  Winner of
the gift giveaway will be announced the 19th, comments close the 18th.  Thank you
to Lisa for hosting!

UPDATE--Teresa is the winner and has been contacted via e-mail, thank you to all
who commented!

Trisha, I believe we´ve first met through OWOH a few years ago, and I appreciate it. Your journal looks wonderful and all I can do is to hope I´ll win!

I was thinking it was through OWOH, but thought it might have been a swap! How funny is that, that was years ago--just goes to show, Lisa is right, OWOH/OWOA really does connect arty bloggers!

:)

I just love art journals. The creativity that it takes to make astounds me. I would love to win your journal because I think that it would be perfect for me to sketch out jewelry ideas in.

Hello, Trisha
Nice to meet you! And thank you for coming to my blog for the OWOA event. I too participated in Lisa's previous events. I think too many people were using the event as a blog candy hop. This is better, hopefully. So, far, I have met at least 8 new bloggers, so that is great!
I am a mixed media artist who will try just about any art medium too.
And yes, add me to your list for your sweet giveaway.
Here is my email address for contact:

God bless you in all you do!

I would love that your book finds my home ;-)
I love to make such things too, especially with upcycled stuff such as toilet paper roll or whatever !
greetings from France, and happy OWOA !

I wanted to join this event this year but the time slipped away. I did it a few years ago and it was fun! Love your little book.

Hello Trisha and thank you so much for participating - I am glad to see returnees. xo
I love, love handmade art journals (I forgot to add that to the list on my own blog). Yours is fantastic! I think it's great you love doing all sorts of things, it keeps our artistic souls well rounded and always exploring new ways to do things.
Thank you again for being apart of the old and this new event...it warms my heart so many have connected through these events.
XO

Hi Trisha,
They're all lovely works of art! The book of tags looks interesting. I was going to participate in this (having done OWOH previously) but, honestly, I don't think I have time to read all the rules :)

You're so right, it's all about the process. I enjoyed checking out your blog, and love your art work. That little journal is very cool. Have a wonderful week! Helen @ Natures Walk Studio natureswalk(at)comcast(dot)net.

Trisha, I love the name of your blog. I wish I were more hard to offend myself, but I'm working on that. The easily amused part, however, I've got down. ;-)

Your journal is super cute and I can't image there would be anyone who wouldn't love owning it. I was looking at your blog and your paper crafts are amazing. I've never had any luck with paper crafts, but yet I keep trying my hand at them. Perhaps one day I will have something I will be brave enough to show the world. Until I shall keep practicing. I look forward to what crafts you'll be doing next. :-)

I so wish I had noticed the post about OWOA starting but am enjoying reading through all the posts anyway. I love your style and am right there with you at dabbling with everything ;) Though I am trying to reign that in and focus on a couple of things :P

Lovely little journal. Good luck everyone :)
