more mail art--What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 215

More mail art--the card-in-progress in the center is for the Rogue Redhead
Challenge, and the stack of postcards at the side need to be addressed.  They're
all similar, but still different.  Here's one:

The text is from Word Art Wednesday
(If you'd like one, at this writing, there are three more up for the asking of, but not
here.  You will find the details in my latest Unruly Paper Arts column, Mail Art en Masse.)

This WAS on my workdesk--she thinks it's her nap table.

Thank you, Julia, for the weekly WOYWW fun--see you soon, WOYWWers!!

:)

Lovely mail art. I'm in awe of these.

Bleubeard is so upset. He wants to join me in my studio, like your beauty, but I won't let him. Seems his cat fur could get on the ink and paint. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Hey Trish, It's me again. I have a question about your suggestion for that embossing enamel.. Would I have to have a melting pot to use that melting embossing powder? Or is there another way to melt it? And is there another brand besides the UTEE? That is really the only brand I know of. I saw a tutorial on Pinterest using that embossing enamel on paper beads. It makes a beautiful paper bead. Thanks. :D

Great postcards Trisha. Seeing you and Daniella play along has encouraged me to join the WOYWW fun.
I wish all my cat would do in my craft room was take a nap, instead anything resembling washi tape, or round in small proportion such as stamps she thinks is a plaything and they disappear to be found hours later elsewhere in the house. Happy WOYWW! Danie #34.

Ooh is the cat included in the mail art swap? We've just signed up to a mail art swap but we think we got the wrong idea as we put ours in an envelope, we're thinking the envelope should have been the mail art? Live and learn.

I do love me a bit of mail art. Been years but I did find a set of postage "stamps" I made for HAIR mail :) Loved seeing your post card and the fabby retro big-hair babe.

Love the background you're working on. I need to use my brayer on my large stamps. :) Yes, fur does get into the ink and paint sometimes, as someone above mentioned, but it's nice to have the fur baby company, isn't it. My T tries to sit on my head or reach around me with her paw looking to help herself to a loose bit or two. :) Thanks for the earlier visit. Happy WOYWW! Nan G #104
