One of my favorite arty friends,
Julie, was in town, and fortunately she had
time to get together for a visit. She
knows how to hand bind books, whereas
I just
try to hand bind books. Therefore, when she offers help, I say,
"Yes, thank you!"

I have owl bunting over my desk. I should show it one week a friend brought it for me as she knows I am a lover of owls.. Your book looks great and so thick with goodness you will have so much fun using all those delicious pages..

We recently attempted a hand made book from junk, well it truly looked like junk, our attempt went in the bin and we shall stick to buying them, as for yours. It's lovely.

Love your hand bound journal. I've been working on making a journal and all thats left is to sew in the signatures. I'm a tad scared. I've done simple bindings before, but I have 7 signatures this time. I'm not even sure I have the right thread. Will you use the journal you made for yourself, or will you gift it??
