What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday, #195--banners and snow

Well okay, no, the snow isn't actually on my desk . . . here is the
banner, or string of pennants, not sure what the correct word is:
(bunting, that's the word!!)
These are for the future DIL's bridal shower, and we'll use them again
at the rehearsal dinner.

And here is the snow--I didn't have my boots on, so didn't step too far
out, but this is part of the front yard:

 Down the drive:
You can see the shovels and sleds and skis sticking up around the
edges. Yep, we're staying home again today--but hey, we have heat,
so it's perfectly fine by me.  Happy WOYWW, everyone--I look
forward to visiting with you!

Great banners!

Here the snow is melting and today we had sun and plus C degrees. Feels like spring.

Happy WOYWW!

We had a HUGE storm a few weeks ago...then we got a bit more last weekend. We were supposed to get more today, but it's raining, instead and I am QUITE pleased with that!

The snowy landscape looks so beautiful. We have no snow, a lovely blue sky but a definite nip in the air.
I never know what to call them either! You created a beautiful banner that will be treasured.

Gorgeous banners - what a lovely idea. Please keep the snow if you don't mind - everything grinds to a halt here if so much as a flake flutters past! Kim #147

I am so jealous! We haven't had any snow to speak of this year or even last year. Winter is my favorite season. Thank you for sharing your snow. And I do like your banner.

Your banners look amazing from where I sit peeking into your craft area. They will be lovely for a bridal shower.

Wish we had your snow, we only have flurries and wet, wet, wet.

Oooh, the banner looks gorgeous so far! I mean *stunning*, please show the finished product, too, 'k? And I'm with you on the snow...so long as we have heat, let it snow! :)

I am hoping we might have finished with snow for this year. I am also hoping we have finished with rain for a few months. We need three dry months to be able to plant anything on the garden without it drowning. Your pictures look good though. Thank you for your visit and your kind comments. Have a good week. xx Maggie #15

I think your banner is going to be awesome!! It looks fabulous right now!
Sorry it took me so long to comment. For some reason, I decided to check my spam folder before emptying it and 3 bloggers were in it!! Including you!! I have to remember to check it before dumping it from now on!
Stay warm!!

Well that's weird--it's not as if I've never left you a comment before, I wonder why I'm suspicious now!!

I'll have to go check my spam now!

I remember one year that we were in AR and received quite the dumping of the white stuff! Lovely banner from the little bit I see and can't wait to see it all! Have a great Sunday!

You have a big property, Trisha, with lots of room for playing and long drives for shoveling! It all balances out and it's a really beautiful scene.

As your wedding banner is also beautiful! Just great!

I've been busy on other things this week and am finally getting a chance to do more WOYWWing. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Darnell #34

That banner looks great! I especially like the typeface you have used on Once Upon a Time!
Very, very late, but trying to visit everyone who left me a comment, at the very least :)

Ros, I am usually a late visitor, too--but I DO get there eventually!
