What's on your workdesk? Wednesday, #171

For those of you who know about my roving desks, this is yet another one--
have taken over a table in the living room, and have to say, it's nice to be in
the center of things, and on a sturdy table, rather than one of those tray tables.

ANYWAY, here's what's on my workdesk:

Inks and bits from making a couple mini books, a set of Gothic Arch
Edgar Allan Poe atcs for a Vintage Photo Image ATC swap, and stamps
from making a birthday card for my dad.

This one is probably my favorite . . .

This is the one on the top of the pile there.

Will be around WOYWW visiting this evening, but now am off to
a viola lesson.  (Good grief, I'm taking viola lessons, how did THAT happen?)

If you'd like to join in the WOYWW fun, stop by the wonderful
Miss Julia's for a look at the weekly festivities!

Hey, a quick P.S.--if you were around for the woyww that featured
 this sneak peek,
you can now see the finished piece, and the step-by-step process,
in my latest column at Unruly Paper Arts.  I'd be delighted if you
stopped by and let me know what you think.  Unless you hate it. ;)

Happy WOYWW, everyone, I look forward to visiting with you!

Viola lessons??? Awesome - you've got to tell the story of how that happened!! I fell into playing a brass instrument six years ago and haven't looked back. I used to play cello in a youth orchestra many years ago. We used to go on residential workshops and at one, I remember a viola player, Idris, pogoing like mad to The Sex Pistols at a disco (this was the late 70s!!) Happy days!

Oh that Poe! And even more interesting to me is the fact that you get to take over spots in various rooms. Thanks for visiting me.

OHhhh, your table is very oldy wordly this week with the Poe AtC's!
Thanks for the kind comments. My room might have a lot of space but it is in the basement...doesn't have a window and DH calls it the dungeon.
He never comes down here so it can be a bit isolating.
Next house I want my room off the kitchen or in a loft overlooking the family room.

I can understand why you’re happy working on a ‘sturdy’ table and you have the added bonus of having a lot more space to fill with all your inks and stuff.

Thanks for stopping by this week and good luck in my Candy draw.

Yay for graduating from a tray to a table! You must be very organized to be able to work on a small space like a tray. I tend to spread out and pile stuff EVERYWHERE!!

Happy WOYWW a little late this week!!
