Altered box, for a slightly steampunk,
back-to-school pencil box:
all stamps from Blockheads |
Believe it or not, this box used to hold baseball cards--okay, it was one pack
of high-end baseball cards, and the box is perfect for altering! You can barely
see the slit where the box opens, at least in this pic, unless you enlarge it.
I think this could be for either a boy or a girl, but I did put some pink crayon on
there, not much . . .
Can you tell everything is stamped on pages from old textbooks?
Stamp sets used:

Plus that great pencil background from Lost Coast Designs,
along with Dylusions sprays in Lemon Zest and Fresh Lime, and crayons, of course!
Happy Sunday, everyone!

I LOVE the look of this, and the stamps images used!
How Clever to stamp everything onto old book pages 1st, before applying to the box.
I'm gonna have to remember to try that idea :)
Love this Trisha, a fabulous mix of stamps, a great design and brilliant idea.

This is wonderful! Of course I had to enlarge it to see if I could see where it opened. ;) I couldn't.
Smashing alteration and design, x
just marvelous!! the bit of pink really adds dimension, and is not girly at all.
Oh, yes, much easier to do the stamping BEFORE the papers are on the box . . . the top of the box, I did it the other way around, and learned my lesson!
:)
Oooh I love this! Excellent idea, Barb!
Oh any child would love this for their new term at school ;0)
Trisha this is just so fabulous and an adult would love this as much as a child.
