Please, who couldn't use some words of wisdom?
I enjoy proverbs, truisms, sage sayings--personally,
I can use all the help I can get!
So, you can imagine I'm all with the new theme at
Gingersnap Creations--Words of Wisdom. I've decided
to make an altered book, and this piece isn't a card
(it kind of looks like a card), it's a tip-in.
The proverb I used is from the book of Proverbs, but
it's from the NMV. If you've never heard of the NMV,
it's because I made it up--it's the New Mom Version.
It's a paraphrase of the actual verse.
Isn't it funny how different captions to images can
make them tell a whole different story?
So what do you think? Does this Rogue Redhead look
as if she's sitting in time out because she couldn't
keep her mouth shut? Or is she working really hard to
KEEP it shut?? She's from the Relish Reading plate,
and until this challenge, I always thought she was
contemplating something she'd just read . . . but now
I'm not so sure . . .
Rogue Redhead Designs is sponsoring this round of
challenges, so by joining in, you not only have an
opportunity to share some Words of Wisdom with all
the Gingersnaps, but the chance to end up with some
brand new stamps!

Lovely card Trisha, x
Great page - love that textured paper!
Fantastic card Trish-
Love them. xoxo
Beautiful Card Trisha.....Love it.
Love the textured background and the saying. I think she is pondering over what she might say rather than what she has already said.
Hope your week is going well.
luv and hugs {brenda} xoxox
I think she is thinking about what she wants to say about the beautiful book cover she's on!
The saying ctacked me up! LOl
hugs Lynn
Isn't it wonderful how it could be interpreted in so many ways.
Great idea for an altered book.

Thank you, everyone--and if anyone has a favorite proverb, I'd love to hear it!
:)
Trisha, what a wonderful page and quotation. Beautiful xx
Hi Trisha,
Love everything about this.
enJOY a lovely February,
Kimberly
She looks to me as if she were plotting a way to spin her folly into an innocent mis step. Great idea!
Oh, I like that!
:-)
Love your page!
This image is perfect for your chosen "Words of Wisdom." Love this!
NMV - he he!!
I suspect I'm not a wise woman...... ;o)

ps thank you for popping over to Gauche Alchemy - I'm so happy you are 'stalking' me!
She's wondering where she hid the last piece of chocolate!
Love what you made with RRD's Marie! She does look like there are many thoughts going on behind those eyes, doesn't she? I sometimes think she's just about to bestow some rather raw truth of some sort.
