Here are the dining room chairs I recovered (there are 2 teal, three grey, and 3 of the blond wood ones), the new curtains too--you can see the bare subfloors. Let me tell you, painting is SO much easier when you don't have to worry about getting it on the floors! You can see Daisy just down in the corner, she's a great "help" with all these projects, as you can imagine.
The chair in the middle--I stamped the fabric with the teal paint. |
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to laying floor tile in the bathroom. ***sigh***
(Someone please tell me this is all going to be worth it . . . )
Happy What's On Your Workdesk, everyone, and thank you, Julia, for the snoopfest!

Super chairs - love the stamping in teal on the middle one. Thanks for sharing today. Hope you have a great day and a lovely crafting week to come. Hazel, WOYWW #45 x
It's definitely worth it already! Those chairs are lovely. I know what you mean about cats and 'helping'. I'm having to keep an eye on the bookcase (paint drying) in the garden, so mine doesn't decide to sleep on it! Have a great week, Chris # 34
Your chairs look great. All of your hard work show, and it's worth it. #56
The chairs are fabulous...and of course it's worth the effort...pride in accomplishment. Be well ~ Carole #71

It is most definitely going to be worth it! Those chairs are just lovely - well done! The curtains look great - and just think how amazed and thrilled all your guests are going to be at thanksgiving!
Take care. God bless.

I have floors that need something doing to them and haven't worked out what yet, ripped up the carpet a few months ago and haven't had time to sort it yet. Yoda pee'd in a few spots, so it had to go. He was a traumatised kitty, but we'll worth it in the end. I should sneak him over to your place for thanksgiving he enjoys turkey and roast spuds. Love your chairs they are real funky. Hope you get the bathroom finished soon.
Hugs Eliza & Yoda
Those chairs are fabulous. trying to get certain areas of our house sorted, redecorated etc but it seems like two steps forwards and three backwards!!! Sure it will be worth it for both of us in the end. Happy WOYWW Anne x #32
