Here is a peek at what's been on my art workdesk:
It's another tiny book, can you tell? But only a peek, since it's for a design team project. And I've been invited to join Leaky Shed Studios, so that's a fun thing--I'm looking forward to getting a package full of their yummy chipboard designs to work with soon.
Been painting the dining room:
Ivory up top, grey on the bottom half, a teal chair rail--the chair rails still need a little sanding, some distressing, you know? Of course, the colors don't look quite right in the photo, but you probably knew that already . . .
And the curtains, made from tablecloths--I thought it was funny that there were already stitched up pieces of fabric around each tablecloth, with the button and button hole, just to make the packaging more appealing for marketing purposes. But if you're making curtains, they're instant tie backs!
Peaches are next in line, the girl child loves peach "fruit leather." We went for our annual "peach trip" to visit my uncle in Oklahoma, he lives near a lovely peach orchard.
That's it. Everything is going well, just busy with summer things and trips and such. I hope you're having a lovely, creative summer (or spring, or fall, or winter, depending where you are!)

Hi Trisha,
Seems like there are a number of us making our way back to WOYWW, after a summer of MIA.
You have three of some of my favorite things, small books, the color teal and sun dried tomatoes.
Your curtains are going to be smashing with the paint colors. You must share a photo of the window when your finished.

Seems like you are keeping pretty busy these days. I love the new colors in the dining room. Lots of people painting walls lately in WOYWW. That's far too ambitious for the likes of me. Thanks for the visit earlier and have fun with the design team work. Judy
