Sometimes it's nice to think inside the box . . .

For the month of May, Altered Pages is teaming up with Eileen Hull's Artists On the Block to create all kinds of Artist Trading Blocks, aka ATBs.  Annie wanted to make yet another appearance.  You may recall Annie, she has a bit of an attitude . . .

She showed off her collection of tiaras (with Leaky Shed and Altered Pages),

And made her latest appearance is in the Spring 2014 Altered Arts Magazine:
Everyone knew Annie had more than one bee in her bonnet.

Apparently I find Annie particularly appealing--now she has winged things flying from her lovely head:

Annie liked to think inside the box.

The background is painted, stamped with Rogue Redhead Design's Handwriting
background in VersaMagic Turquoise Gem Ink (from Tsukineko), spritzed with a
variety of shimmery Fireworks inks (also from Tsukineko), and edged with the same
Turquoise:

The box is full up of tulle, bits of silk, and (besides Annie's head), a collection of butterflies and moths from Altered Pages.

The cascade of roses?  Made from Pink Paislee Color Wash paper using the Amazing Super Simple Paper Rose Tutorial, and spritzed with some Fireworks for a little shine.

See, sometimes it really is nice to think inside the box!  ;)
