What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday, #191--new stamps and backround papers!

Well, okay, it's Thursday AGAIN--if I didn't have to go places, or share
the computer with five other people, I might actually get my posts done
when they're supposed to be done!

Some new stamps, ready to put on cling foam--
Behind the Scenes plate from Rogue Redhead Designs
You may know I REALLY like making backgrounds, so these stamps,
oh yes, they will be put to good use.  Here's what else is on my workdesk,
and I'm thinking these will get a good stamping soon--
the top is accidental background paper, the others were on purpose!
So I'll be around later today, will at least stop by everyone who dropped in
to say hi last round, or comments this time.  If you'd like to join in the desk
snoop, you can go see the lovely Julia, who hosts the fun each week.

You were not last, Trisha. There are a couple after you. If you think I am tidy, just look back at last week's post for a flavour of what my room is like. I spent two days clearing out and tidying, filled two boxes of stuff for my daughter and granddaughter, and still only manages a two foot square piece of desk to work in. There is so much still to do. I love making my own backgrounds these days, and yours look so cheerful. Thank you for your visit today. xx Maggie #11

Great new stamps! I love background stamps and have quite a few now. Your background papers are great, too. I got the idea of working on a large piece of paper rather than a craft mat some time ago from Jennibellie (you can find her on Youtube and she also has a blog) - I call her the Recycling Queen! I try to change papers when I'm using different colour schemes so there is a bit of method in it lol! I also love using them as backgrounds to photograph things.

Thanks for your nice comment, and I'm glad you like my new spoke guards. They were fun, fun, fun to make! Lots of ideas for different sets, now, too.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I love your paper works! I am also dabbling about with colours and diaries. It is coming in "waves". It is just knitting now. The day will come when I will make again backgrounds. But there are many things in-between.
Anneliese - I sure will show the progress of the century-knitting

Now that' is a happy accident huh! I've tried to get in the habit of using semi decent paper to cover desk etc when squirting and inking, but have had less arty success than that!

Now see how late I am running with my return visit! Life, right? What can you do but live it up, laugh it up and just go, go, go! :) I LOVE your new background stamp! I bet it was cheaper than that new TH one I had on my desk, but I just *had* to have it because of the honeycomb print! I've been wanting one for just weeks now(you know, for-ev-er!)and finally just broke down and bought his because I couldn't find any others...but now I see yours...and I like it better! Does it always happen like that?! lol Also love the backgrounds you've done, even the accidental one! :)
Thanks for visiting me, much earlier, and I know my stack of cards was ridiculous but it was actually pretty easy to do. I had gotten several new Prima journaling card sets, which don't all have lines on them, but are so pretty they make perfect focal pieces for little cards so that's why I whipped up so many...I really couldn't stop myself! lol I just adore Prima patterns and stamps, too. Anyways, I better make a few more stops before the next WOYWW starts up and I've missed them completely. :) Deeyll#164(who ended up after you because I messed up my linky! lol)
