What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 155

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday, 155 (thank you, Julia!)

Well there's finally something going on on my workdesk, it's been about a week
since I've had time to do anything, really, which has made me a little twitchy . . .
I don't know about you, but I need my art therapy time!

That's the first page of an origami pocket book, no cover yet, still working on
the pages and inserts.  The lantern and ticket image inside the pocket are from
the Vintage Railway set.  The piece getting flattened under the big acrylic block
has an image from the same set, the block is an old baseball card holder.

There you go, short and sweet, and I'm off to visit around the other woyww-ers.
If you leave a comment, I WILL get around to you by next week, so watch for
me!

:)

It sounds complicated, I'm sure it's not to you. I love origami, do you fold paper or just altering the book?

Hey Trisha - thanks for the lovely comment and support.
I really like you railway stamps, anything steampunky is good for me. Why are cogs and gears so appealing?? LOL.

Looks like you are busy making beautiful things even if you have been away from it for a bit.

Hi Trisha, Luvin your vintage railway stamps and the page for your origami book. I also spy crayons, you don't see many of these while hopping round WOYWW, have you used the yellow one for the colour behind your lantern?
Take care

The desk looks nice and inky! We have had 3 full days of sunshine, so I have finally cleared the washing pile! #108

Hi again, everybody, thank you for the comments (I will be blog visiting everybody soon).

The book is actually origami, and I did fold it myself, which is a small miracle--I am TERRIBLE at origami.

And I pretty much use crayon on everything, it's always been a favorite of mine!

I've never heard of an origami book before, that is really interesting. Sounds hard though. I really love that lantern, looks great.
Have a great week and thanks for the lovely comment.
