springtime page, what's on your workdesk wednesday #151

This is what's on my workdesk this Wednesday, no editing, to tidying for you, just straight up here it is!
And a little bit bigger view.
And a peek at one of the pages in the book I was starting to work on last week.  The cover is in my post from yesterday, just scroll down a bit if you'd like to see.

I don't speak French, but I do know how to work Google Translate.  However, I've sometimes the translations are a bit odd, so tell me, if you know, does this REALLY say, "She loved Paris in springtime."  Cath, if you're out there, let me know . . .  :)

I heard of a book once (Tattoo Blues) where the tattoo artist just uses characters from a Chinese menu whenever someone asks for an oriental symbol tattoo. Of course, he fibs and tells them it means "courage" or "strength" or whatever he thinks they'd like to hear. Really is says "sweet and sour pork." So whenever I use foreign phrases I'm sure I'm really just saying "pasta with clam sauce" but it looks like you nailed the saying on this one. Great, happy, messy desk!

How refreshing! That workspace with all its creative clutter is SO like mine! Everyone else always seems to be so neat and tidy and I usually end up working in 3 square inches of space!! I must admit to a certain degree of envy for your storage drawers and all those pens!!

Lovely lovely page - the pink and turquoise look wonderful together.
