some things I've (re)learned the last few weeks--

1. REAPPLY that sunscreen.

2. Keep a fire extinguisher handy.

3. If you're patient enough (or go away for a week), your
garden really WILL grow. (The basil plants are thriving--
guess who's having pesto tonight?? AND the tomato plants
are blooming!!)

4. Don't drink a double espresso mixed with a regular
coffee directly prior to working on an art-type
project. (Lola, that would probably also apply to
cutting out a pattern . . .)

The kicker is that I sent this in as part of a kit at
Altered Pages.
Sorry about that, Jacki!

5. We really need faster intraweb in this house.
I miss visiting all my imaginary friends.

*sigh*

Will be at the shop tomorrow, so am going to try
to steal some company time on the computer.

But we're not really a company.

So that makes it okay, right?

See you tomorrow!!

:)

I'm not afraid of a Double Cappuccino-thingy messing up my cutting.....I cut patterns with a toddler hanging on my leg screaming, the twins having a lego war, and a teen girl emoting. ( I actually think I'd rather have a caffeine overload.)

So you are saying that in order for my garden to grow I must take a week vacation??? Sounds like a plan me! (insert "to")-------------------^

I heard about your little excitement with the fire extinguisher and where Faith's priorities lie. So glad everyone is okay. Love your piece of art. I need to say that more often when people annoy me. Miss ya. How goes the reading? I guess I'll see you next Friday.

P.S. I found this post funny, of another blogger I stalk. Thought it sounded a bit like your humor so I had to share.

I often think I should engage in some drunken crafting just to see what would happen...perhaps coffee has the same effect??? ;)

Lola, it was a double ESPRESSO.
(cappuccino is a sissy drink ;)

this is nice--ONE leg is peeling.
just one. very attractive.

whoa, what? am i annoying you, Contessa?? finishing up the last book this week!

Ann, you just let me know how that drunken crafting goes--it wouldn't be pretty around here. i can see things glued in my hair, and it basically ending with my face adhered to the table as i snore peacefully . . . and the house burns down around me . . .
