love apples! What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday time! and a question?

No, you're right, there aren't any love apples actually on my desk,
a bunch of stuff in the works for Altered Pages

But I DID pick my first tomato of the season!
Did you know they used to be called love apples? Anyway, Happy What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday to you, and thank you to the lovely Julia for hosting the party! Oh, and here's the question--can anyone point me to a good tutorial that tells how to put photos in a grid on blogger? Like a table with 6 or 9 photos in it, does that make sense?

  1. Hi Trisha, congratulations on the tomatoe... I am presuming that you actually have more than one... but its a lovely decent size!
Hmm, not sure you can do the grid thing with photos in blogger... you might have to the grid bit before you upload it. Annette #6

  4. We hardly ever really look at a tomato...they're so common. But actually, they are really beautiful..and you can see why they were called love apples! I hope you get many many more in your harvest!

Sorry I can't help with the pics question. I'm always pleased with myself when I simply manage to upload a single one to my blog :)

  11. There is something special about picking your own produce isn't there. I was so excited when I picked my first orange and this year, hopefully we will have our first ever lemon!
It is relatively easy to make a photo grid in any graphics program, and then you can size it to the width of your blog 'useable panel' and upload it as one picture. I am lucky enough to have adobe photoshop, but you can download picasa for free and do it in that. Kate x

  13. You know, you reminded me - somewhere in the back of my mind I have heard them called that - it's a beauty!
I think I know what you mean about the grid but I can't help. I'd quite like to know myself - I cannot even put two side by side.
Sorry I am so late, dare I say it, cleaning got in the way - and thanks for visiting me yesterday. Hugs, Neet 13 xx

  14. I use picmonkey.com to make photo collages. It's so much easier than picasa.

  18. I bet it tasted so very much better than anything you could buy in the shops, didn't it??!! Looks wonderful - and so nicely presented - like a trophy! We have had four bowls of our own strawberries so far - and just told a friend to help herself next week as we are away!! We'll miss them.
I love the colours of everything on your desk.
    Thanks for dropping in.

  22. Thank you for the Picasa suggestions--got it downloaded, but it keeps freezing up. However, from what I've been able to tell so far, it looks great! I just need to figure out what's going on--we may not have enough memory, but that seems unlikely. The prompt says the colors running aren't compatible with the Windows blahbitty blah blah computer stuff blah blah.

    Something like that.

  24. My mouth is watering for that love apple, Trisha! I'm glad your plants weren't ruined with all the rains.

I use Picasa to create collages. It's the free Google web album software. Let me know if you have that, but aren't sure how to get to the collage tool.

Thank you for coming by to visit me and Happy (late) WOYWW!! Darnell #32

THANK YOU for your comments!!! :)

If you see the Please Prove You're Not a Robot message, and have a blogger blog, just ignore it--it should publish for you without it. I really do NOT like those things, would not torment you with one!!!!
