a little bit of whimsy . . .


So I'm still using up my accidental backgrounds (you may remember
THIS card), but have added a little more sparkle to this one.  The
background was mainly all Dylusions Spray Inks, but I added flecks of
Perfect Pearls Pink Gumball from the Confections Set (which, by the
way, is on sale right now!), and it not only added sparkle, but dimension
to the background.  See how it appears to float on top of the Dylusions?
Well, I tried to get you a good pic--you know how hard that can be!
The images and sentiment are stamped in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink
and Onyx Black VersaFine, using Whimsical Faerie Wings and
Whimsical Take Flight
Sandwiched in a little tulle and added some crayon distressing, too.

Because EVERYTHING is better with a little crayon!

    Of course....crayons add so much to just about anything. ^_^

    LOVE this!! And your altered book too! And, Dylusions are amazing, love them.. I guess I love everything!!
    I have to start checking out some of the challenges out there. I have been very neglectful to my blog, and all blog related things. Time to get back on track!!! It isn't working yet (my resolution to have better time management) but I'm hoping it is a process, not a failure!!!

    Fabulous card... I love how you've created the background... and that gorgeous dragonfly image... However, we would love to see lots more pink on your next card for our challenge at In The Pink...
