Gelli print reclaimed. And a little blog candy. Make that four little blog candies..

Have you ever made about a million monotype prints, and really only liked about half of them?

That happens to me every time . . . but I don't mind, because those less-than-satisfactory prints always end up as something.  Eventually.

Here is one of those prints that got a spritzing with spray inks and cut up into atc backgrounds--you can see more of the process in my share today at the Altered Pages Artsociates blog.  Thank you to Stencil1 for the variety of perfectly sized backgrounds:

So.  I've also been tidying up the art room.  If you live in the US, and would like one of these atcs and some of the art room findings--not a ton, just some fun flat goodies that fit in an envelope--just leave me a comment here.  I'll wait a couple weeks, and if needed, do a random draw thing.  So that's four little sweeties.

Anyone?

  1. LOVE these ATCs - the backgrounds are great - just goes to show what you can do with 'rejects' with a little thought and some good design skills!

  5. I would love to have a goodie from your art room. Isn't it fun to smear paint and find that treasure as you pull the paper up? I love what you created with your prints even though you don't care for a print, it almost always adds a special touch to an image.

  9. Have you seen the new pocket letters? I recently received one from D. M. I really like the ATC with the square checkerboard stencil. I NEED that stencil! I clicked on publish for my first comment and it went off into cyberspace, so here's hoping this one will publish. =0)

  11. Hi Trisha, I was sure I commented on this post but I don't see it. Maybe I am losing the plot. Anyway, these are all beautiful. Great use of the gelli backgrounds, a technique I still have yet to try. Have a great day. Hugz

THANK YOU for your comments!!! :)

If you see the Please Prove You're Not a Robot message, and have a blogger blog, just ignore it--it should publish for you without it. I really do NOT like those things, would not torment you with one!!!!
