fairies, a please, and a thank you--What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday, #253

The fairies:
Oh-kay, back to working in the living room on a tray table:
working out the details with tape . . .

the daughter helping with some fussy cutting!
The please??
One of my collages is in the running for the cover of Altered Arts Magazine, but
they're having a voting thing.  Soooo, if you're a facebook kind of WOYWWer,
please go vote for "D?"  Here's the linky:  Altered Arts Magazine Cover Vote.
(THANK YOU to Julia, not only for hosting woyww, but for voting for me--I seriously
appreciate it--I was in one of those moods, so you actually made me cry!!!)
this is the collage in question
The thank you!!
If you've ever heard of Our World, Our Art, I'm participating, and giving away a
little thank-you-for-leaving-a-comment gifty.  Here's the link for that post: LINK
FOR THAT POST.  (You may recognize the gifty!)

Happy What's On Your Workdesk, everyone!  I'm having a good snoop tomorrow,
so see you soon!  (House update: got the trim pulled off in the living room, painted
walls and ceiling, and pulled up all the carpet and pad.  New trim and carpet next!)

(PS--After a few daughter comments, I want to point out that the daughter LIKES
fussy cutting!  If she comes in the room and I'm cutting out something, she'll scold me
and say, "Why didn't you save that for me, give me that!"     How great is THAT???)

  12. Think I have a tray table but it has portions in it (stickydown things) so not much use for crafting on. Do I need to invest in a new one?
Off to do the voting thing now. Good luck to all.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me earlier - Neet xx

  19. Thanks for letting me know my comment box wasn't working. :( I had the correct boxes checked in settings. After some googling I realized its a problem in blogger. I will have to individually check allow comments within the blog post "options". What a pain. FYI

  23. I hadn't realised till I read your post today, that I do very little cutting these days other than guillotining things for matting and layering, and less of that these days, tending to do one layer cards. It is good that you have someone who really enjoys doing it for you. Thank you for your visit this week and I hope all the voting does the trick. xx Maggie #28

Have been taking a sneaky look around your whole site - reading the list of countries - Wales? Scotland? They seem to be missing - have you already sent to them?
Thanks for visiting. Thanks for your prayers for John. It is so precious to know we are being prayed for right around the globe. The wedding dress is coming together - and I have just been given the go ahead by the bride to start on the real fabric!!! Help!

  27. I loved it when the kids at school were doing cutting out..I used to race them to the scissors!! There is something quite hypnotic about peacefully cutting around the shape, I wonder why that is?!

  44. Trisha, the parcel you won from me was attempted to be delivered on the 26th...but the PO tracking said they left a notice as there was no safe location to leave it. I tried emailing you. I hope you see this comment as I don't know how else to contact you. You will probably now have to pick it up at the PO - I hope you got their notice.

THANK YOU for your comments!!! :)

If you see the Please Prove You're Not a Robot message, and have a blogger blog, just ignore it--it should publish for you without it. I really do NOT like those things, would not torment you with one!!!!
