What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday, 190--snow dancers

Sure, yes, it's Thursday, but fortunately, dear Ms. Dunnit is very gracious.
(In case you aren't familiar with WOYWW, check out this link.)

So here's my workdesk today:
It's my lap.  Had to go with the guys to our shop, but brought my
go-box of stuff.  See the feathers?  They were for these fine ladies--
images from Altered Pages
They're actually stick puppets, I dunno, it seemed right for the Snow Dancer
challenge at the Altered Pages blog.  And the "sticks," they're leftover
background pieces (collage on chipboard), you can see more of the shimmery
blueness of it if you scroll down a post.

Happy WOYWW, albeit a day late--there are 164 people this week! What do
you think?  Can I make it through the list?

:)

  7. Ah a lap desk, what a fantastic idea, the bears may do this next week, just think, we can craft from bed then! Love your ladies. Thanks for visiting the bears this week,

  8. If you can make it through the whole list, you are doing brilliantly. I have done it once in around two years and that was because for various reasons I was unable to craft properly that week. I usually visit anyone who visits me, and then certain regular friends, then anyone whose number ends in the same as mine. I love your box to go, and your stick puppets. Thank you for visiting me today, and I hope your weather is better than ours (thick snow with more forecast) xx Maggie #20

  12. LOVE the whole concept!! You REALLY think out of the box girl!!!
Your to go desk is perfect, and quite neat. I am sure, if I had to have a "to go" desk it would be messy too!!

  14. love your puppets...I am sick this week so my goal is to at least get to the ones that visit me. Usually, I try to get to 50 or so. Once or twice I have done all of them, but it took the whole week to do that. Oh then comes the question of tart at the end, middle or beginning? One thing for sure, the more I do, the more blessed I become!

  19. Oh so impressed that your 'to go' box is so small and portable. I know that's the idea, but mine ends up amounting to a wheeled tote!! I love the snow dancers, what a brilliant idea, I do not have that sort of foresight.
I don't quite get your comment about the two blog thing...I haven't had coffee yet, maybe I need to do that and figure it out properly!
If you get to Antalya, you'll love it. The beach side hotels are quite away out of the town of Antalya which as you see in the layout is an old and beautiful place..no beach in town, a wonderful harbour and pleasure boats and an 'old town' that is just a deligth...you'll love it.

  31. Trisha I love those ladies with the feathers! I definitely travel around with my lapdesk of crafty work sometimes too. And I'm with you--I am astounded we have 164 Woywwers! What a great blog party! I only wish I really could make it around to all of them--I've only done that one time. It took me all day! And thank you for your sweet comments about my new header! The blogger layout was fighting with me and wouldn't let me post a photo on my layout for a long time, and then finally it worked. Have a good weekend dearest! Sandy Leigh #112

We still have some *S*N*O*W* left on the ground despite fairly heavy rain last night ... it can stay as long as it likes as far as I am concerned ... just love the stuff. 45. That’s a neat little box for when you’re on the go Tricia. I have a similar bag with a little cross stitch project in that I pick up and take with me if I know I’m going to have a bit of wait if I go somewhere.

Loving your snow dancers and those fluffy white feathers.

Thanks for stopping by this week.
