I have the makings of some Christmas tree ornaments:
at this point. The clothespins will be attached at the base, if that gives a clue.
I don't have any finished yet, but here is a pic of one I made last year--it's in the
background, though:
Can you guess what it is now? I'm making these for a group of friends, we
meet once a month and have dinner and talk for hours, and this week we're
having an ornament exchange.
Are you WOYWWing this week? If you leave a comment, I'll try and find
you--occasionally there are comments from google connect people, and I
can't find links to blogs, but I really do try to visit everyone who drops in here.
Happy WOYWW, and thank you to Julia for hosting this weekly event.
(PS--in case you haven't seen it, here is a link to the annual free Christmas
issue of Altered Arts magazine.)

Looks like felted wool. The clothes pin hint does not help me. LOL And, how long do I have to be in suspense until I find out what it is?? The dinner with friends sounds really nice. Have a great evening.

Thanks for coming by my blog. Your exchange ornament is so pretty how can you bare to give it away?
ReplyDeleteLovely little nests! Lucky birdies! Makes a beauty of an ornament! Oh "the girls" help alright....paper is not safe around them! Hugs Nan 85
ReplyDeleteAre they little furry nests? That is so sweet. But really mentioning that they weren't furry cookies makes me want to have cookies... non furry ones though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. I didn't do WOYWW this week because my desk is still shuttered shut due to kittens. That really keeps me away from my desk. I used to sit down in a few spare minutes and putter but not now.
And I think the plural of Judy is Judi? Yeah.... maybe not.
By the way, that's how we tell the tourists, they insist on calling multiple cactus plants "cacti" and no locals do.
your little felty creations look interesting please show them when they are finished
ReplyDeletethanks for sahring
