a set of three atcs

Here is a set
of three atcs,
all using
backgrounds
made
from Gelli Plate
prints.

(Gelli Plate printing is,
in fact, addictive--they
should come with a
warning label!)

The images are stamped
on papers colored with watercolor washes, using
images from the Grunge Collages  set.

Isn't that a sweet stamp?
These are going out for
a blissfulART atc swap.

Got that autumn theme going on,
but with non traditional colors . . .
what do you think?  Too bright?
I have to add
crayon around the
edges, don't you
know!  And tulle,
almost always
some of that, too.

The German scrap
and bling, those
are bonuses . . .

Have a great
Sunday, everyone!

Some challenges? Well sure:

  2. The crayon on the edges appears to bring out the backgrounds even more so.
That is a sweet image of mother and child.

    1. It IS sweet, isn't it? It's one of my favorite stamps right now, I have to admit . . . that little baby hand reaching out, so cute.

  3. These are really beautiful, Trish. And I love the crayon around the edges - it really does finish off the pieces. Really like the stamps - I love religious images, but don't have a single stamp of one.

Does the top one have tulle...or sequin scrap...or...?

  13. Nah, you can try monoprinting without one, first, to see if you like it--just use a cookie sheet or tray. But it IS easier with one. Or you can make your own gelatin plate, but honestly, the Gelli is better, in my opinion--you don't have to make it yourself, you don't have to worry about storing it in the fridge, and it doesn't mold.

THANK YOU for your comments!!! :)

If you see the Please Prove You're Not a Robot message, and have a blogger blog, just ignore it--it should publish for you without it. I really do NOT like those things, would not torment you with one!!!!
