Julie, here's the first one . . .

. . . but it's not in the mail yet!

This altered rolodex card was made for a swap with a friend--
she made the sheet music covered background, and sent it to me.
We're trying to keep these flat, as we each intend to eventually
fill a rolodex with altered cards.

The sweet bird's nest and egg are from the Vintage Illustrated
Birds set
, which is a perfect set for some springtime inspiration.
Yep, it's the same bird's nest and egg I used HERE.

My favorite part of this one is the French behind the bird, it's as if
he's singing "oui! oui! oui!"

Do you have any spring projects in the works??

  20. My friend says you can still get plastic holders at office supply stores, I would assume the cards, as well. We're kind of making our own cards, though--I got a rolodex punch from a garage sale, so . . .

    :)

  21. What a great idea a rolodex filled with art, I have been working on my rolodex for weeks now filling it with scrap paper to then put address etc onto but I like this idea better.

    love your finished card too.

THANK YOU for your comments!!! :)

If you see the Please Prove You're Not a Robot message, and have a blogger blog, just ignore it--it should publish for you without it. I really do NOT like those things, would not torment you with one!!!!
