It's almost Easter--please allow me to share with you some favorite Easter atcs (so they're about 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches at their largest points) of mine, made a while back for a swap:

a little diy craftiness--disguising a Scentsy Circle

My son's car straight up smells like a gym locker.  In a desperate attempt to make his car smell like something not dead, I got him a Scentsy Circle air freshener to hang from the rear-view mirror, and disguised it thusly:
Super simple little diy, but much less obviously an air freshener.  (If you wanna see the "how," please visit HERE.)

Happy Thursday, everyone!

framed collage animal prints, and a little spring--What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday, #354

Happy Wednesday, deskers, I have returned once again--this time with the finished, framed animals from a previous woyww post.

The frames were all mismatched, so I unified them with a coat of my favorite matte acrylic paint (these paints are Americana, and a favorite for four reasons: 1.they coat so well that you don't have to use the whole bottle at one go,  2.they come in about a million billion colors,  3.that lovely matte finish, and  4.they are inexpensive enough to use for everyday crafty stuff!)

These weren't my idea--they are for a baby boy's nursery, and the mama had pinned to Pinterest a similar project.  I changed the animals somewhat, and made the colors to match their nursery.
(If you want to see the original collaged pages, just scroll down a post.  The finished versions are high quality color copies of the animals cut from those collaged papers.)

And now for some spring:
The daffodils are blooming again!
If you want to know more about What's on Your Workdesk?  Wednesday, simply stop by and see our gracious hostess, the lovely Miss Julia.

It's been ages since I've joined any challenges, but here we go:
Altered Eclectics:  March (anything goes, altered or mixed media)
**Art*Journal*Journey:  "If you go down to the woods" (do these creatures fit that theme, or what!?!)
Pixel and Paper Challenge--monochromatic (each animal is a monochromatic collage of a color from the baby's nursery)

Well, that was fun . . .

it's springing around here, and some animal prints

Spring means I've been gardening and spring cleaning instead of blogging!  However, I did finish the collage prints mentioned in a previous post.  These are for a baby boy's room--the mama had posted in a pinterest board a similar project, but I changed the animals up a little, and made the colors to match the nursery.

The original collages:

The animal cuts/prints:
Not the best photo, I'll take another of them in the frames.  (Please tell me the fox looks like a fox!)

Have a great weekend!

a tiny life primer

First off, I can't believe how long it's been since my last post--had a nasty cold, and you know how that can knock the stuffing out of you . . . thank goodness that's about over, it's time for a round of blog visiting!

And second, here are a couple of pics of a tiny little hand bound book:

You may recognize that textured cover from the Valentine making, or even from this trio of fairies.  Anyway, I'm making good use of all the bits!  You will find the rest of the book in my share today at Altered Pages, and if you're interested in the binding, it's simply a tiny version of THIS tutorial (use clothespins instead of binding clips).

Happy Thursday!
